Don't Grow Weary in Well Doing

Scripture:

Galatians 6:9 (KJV)

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

Psalm 121:1-2 (KJV)

"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth."

There are seasons in every writer's journey when weariness tries to settle in.

The excitement of beginning has faded.

The finish line still seems far away.

And you wonder if all the effort is really worth it.

Perhaps you've been faithful.

You've prayed.

You've written.

You've continued showing up.

And yet, progress seems slower than you hoped.

Maybe you've questioned whether anyone will ever read your work.

Perhaps you've wondered if the dream God placed in your heart will ever become reality.

If so, take heart.

God sees every unseen act of obedience.

Every page.

Every prayer.

Every tear.

Every moment you chose to continue when it would have been easier to quit.

Galatians reminds us not to grow weary in doing good.

Why?

Because there is a harvest.

And harvests do not appear overnight.

Seeds require time.

Dreams require patience.

And faithfulness requires perseverance.

Isaiah reminds us that our strength does not come from ourselves.

When we are weary, God renews us.

When we are discouraged, He lifts us up.

And when we feel weak, He becomes our strength.

Psalm 121 reminds us where our help comes from.

Not from recognition.

Not from success.

Not from applause.

But from the Lord.

So if you're tired today, rest in Him.

If you're discouraged, pray.

If you're wondering whether your efforts matter, trust Him.

Because the Author of your story knows exactly when the harvest will come.

And He promises that faithfulness is never wasted.

Daily Reflection

đź’ś Where have I grown weary in my journey?

đź’ś Am I relying on my own strength or God's?

đź’ś What encouragement do I need from the Lord today?

đź’ś How can I continue faithfully, even when I don't see immediate results?

đź’ś What blessings has God already given me that I may be overlooking?

Prayer:

Father, thank You for being my strength when I am weary. Thank You for seeing every effort, every prayer, and every act of obedience. Help me not to lose heart or give up. Renew my spirit and remind me that You are working even when I cannot see it. Teach me to trust Your timing and remain faithful to the calling You have placed on my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

đź’ś Author Encouragement

Don't give up.

Don't lose heart.

And don't grow weary.

Your labor in the Lord is never in vain.

Keep writing.

Keep believing.

Keep trusting the Author of your story.

The harvest is coming. ✍️📖💜
