🌿 Devotional Thought

There are certain dates that carry special meaning.

Birthdays.

Anniversaries.

Holidays.

Ordinary days that became extraordinary because of someone we love.

And when those dates arrive, grief often speaks a little louder.

Memories come flooding back.

We remember the laughter.

The celebrations.

The conversations.

And perhaps we find ourselves wishing for just one more moment.

But today, God gently reminds us of a truth that grief itself confirms:

Love never leaves our hearts.

The physical presence may be gone.

The routines may have changed.

But love remains.

It remains in the stories we tell.

It remains in the lessons they taught us.

It remains in the kindness we share with others.

And it remains in the quiet moments when a memory suddenly brings both tears and smiles.

1 Corinthians 13 reminds us that the greatest gift God gives is love.

And because love comes from God, it is stronger than time and greater than death.

So today, if your heart feels tender…

Allow yourself to remember.

Allow yourself to smile.

Allow yourself to cry.
