Never Let Their Memory Die

đź“– Scripture (KJV)

"The memory of the just is blessed."— Proverbs 10:7

There is something I want to encourage each of you to do today.

Talk about your loved ones.

Speak their names.

Tell their stories.

Share the funny moments, the serious moments, the life lessons, and even the little things that made them so special.

One of the greatest fears many grieving people have is that the people they loved will one day be forgotten.

But as long as we continue to share their stories, laugh at their memories, and celebrate the lives they lived, their legacy continues.

I often talk about my beautiful Momma. She went home to be with the Lord in 1979, but not a day goes by that I don't think of something she taught me or a memory that makes me smile.

I also talk about my precious son, Michael, my grandparents, family members, and dear friends who have gone on before me.

They may no longer walk beside me, but they will never be forgotten.

Their love helped shape who I am.

Their kindness still inspires me.

Their faith still encourages me.

Their memories continue to bless my heart.

Sometimes I laugh when I remember something funny they said.

Sometimes I cry because I miss them.

And sometimes I do both at the same time.

That is what love looks like.

Grief does not mean we stop talking about those we love.

In fact, one of the most beautiful ways we honor them is by keeping their memories alive.

Tell your children about them.

Tell your grandchildren.

Share the family recipes.

Look through old photographs.

Celebrate birthdays and anniversaries.

Write down the stories before they are forgotten.

Every memory is a reminder that God blessed us with someone worth loving.

And while we long for the day we will see them again, until that glorious reunion, we honor their lives by remembering them with grateful hearts.

Today, I encourage you to share a memory.

Maybe it is funny.

Maybe it is heartwarming.

Maybe it is something they taught you that still guides your life today.

Whatever it is, don't let their memory fade.

Because love never truly dies.

It lives on in every story we tell, every lesson we pass on, and every heart that was touched by their life.

One day, because of Jesus Christ, those memories will become reality once again as we are reunited in Heaven.

What a wonderful day that will be.

🤍 Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the precious gift of the people You placed in our lives. Thank You for every memory, every lesson, every laugh, and every moment we shared with those we love. Help us never to let their memory fade. Give us the courage to speak their names, share their stories, and celebrate the lives they lived. Thank You for the hope we have in Jesus Christ that one day we will be reunited with those who have trusted in You. Until that day, help us honor them by living lives filled with faith, love, kindness, and compassion.

In Jesus' Name, Amen.

đź’ś Agape Love Reminder

Our loved ones are gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. Keep telling their stories. Keep speaking their names. Keep sharing their love. As long as they are remembered, their legacy continues to bless the lives of others. And because of Christ, we have the blessed hope that one day we will embrace them again. 🌿💜🕊️
