Theme: A New Month, A New MercyScripture:“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22–23 (KJV)
A new month brings fresh pages, renewed hope, and endless possibilities — and God meets you here with new mercy. Not recycled mercy… new.
As an author, that truth is a gift.It means you don’t have to carry yesterday’s discouragement into today. You don’t have to drag last month’s doubts into this new season. You don’t have to write under the weight of old pressure.
God gives you a fresh start — new mercy for each morning, and new grace for each word.
December is a month wrapped in reflection, peace, and promise. Let God breathe renewal into your creativity. Let His compassion refresh your spirit. And let His faithfulness anchor your heart as you write through this season.
Your writing will shift when you realize you’re not walking on leftover strength — you’re walking in brand-new mercy crafted just for today.
Reflection Prayer:
Lord, thank You for new mercies this morning and for every morning to come. As I begin this new month, refresh my spirit, renew my creativity, and guide my writing. Let Your compassion fill my heart and Your faithfulness shape my words. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Today’s Challenge:Write a “fresh start” paragraph today — something filled with hope, expectation, or gratitude. Let it mark the beginning of a month led by God’s mercy and guided by His hand.
