Luke 19 brings us to one of the most powerful encounters in Scripture—Jesus and Zacchaeus.

Zacchaeus was small in stature, but his desire to see Jesus was great.Crowds surrounded the Savior, yet Jesus noticed the one man perched in a tree, longing for a glimpse of hope.

Jesus didn’t just see Zacchaeus—He called him by name.

He didn’t avoid him—He invited Himself into his home.

And with Jesus’ presence came transformation.

Zacchaeus didn’t just meet Jesus; his life was changed. His priorities shifted. His heart softened. His actions reflected repentance and restoration.

And Jesus declared:“This day is salvation come to this house.”

This is the heart of Christmas.

Jesus didn’t come just to be admired from a distance.He came to enter homes.To enter hearts.To bring salvation, restoration, and new beginnings.

As Christmas draws closer, Luke 19 invites us to examine our own hearts. Are we merely watching Jesus from afar, or are we welcoming Him fully into our lives?
