📖 A Thankful Heart – 30 Days of Gratitude Before GodDay 4 – November 4th: Thankful for God’s Word

đŸ•Šïž Key Scripture (KJV):“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”— Psalm 119:105

📚 Devotional Thought:Today, I am thankful for God’s Word—the living, breathing truth that guides, comforts, and strengthens us every single day. The Bible is more than ink on pages; it is the voice of God speaking directly to our hearts. Through it, He reveals His character, His promises, and His will for our lives.

When the world feels dark and uncertain, the Word of God shines like a lamp, showing us the next step to take. It reminds us that we are never alone, that God’s plan is perfect, and that His love never fails. Every verse carries life, every promise offers hope, and every command leads us closer to righteousness and peace.

The Bible also connects us to the heart of our Savior, Jesus Christ. From Genesis to Revelation, every chapter points to Him—the Redeemer who fulfilled prophecy, conquered sin, and gave us the gift of eternal life. As we read and meditate on His Word, we grow in faith, wisdom, and spiritual strength.

Let’s take a moment today to thank God for the precious gift of Scripture. His Word doesn’t change with the times; it changes us—renewing our minds, transforming our hearts, and drawing us closer to His truth.

🙏 Prayer Prompt:Lord, thank You for Your Word that guides me in truth and fills my heart with light. Help me to treasure Scripture, to read it daily, and to live by it faithfully. Let Your Word shape my thoughts, strengthen my faith, and draw me ever closer to You.

✍ Reflection Questions:‱ What verse of Scripture has encouraged or guided me recently?‱ How can I make time each day to read and reflect on God’s Word?‱ In what ways has the Bible changed the way I think, live, or love others?
