“Write What I Whisper”
“Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” — Habakkuk 2:2
“The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary.” — Isaiah 50:4
“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.” — Proverbs 25:11
💜 Devotional Thought
There are moments, dear Author, when you sit before a blank page and wonder:
Is this story enough? Will anyone read it?Does this even matter?
And yet… God whispers.
He does not shout. He does not rush.He whispers.
The same God who spoke the stars into place speaks gently to your spirit. He plants stories in your heart. He stirs memories. He allows tears to become ink. He turns healing into paragraphs.
Your writing is not random.
It is obedience.
When the Lord told Habakkuk to write the vision, it wasn’t about popularity. It wasn’t about sales. It was about clarity. It was about purpose. It was about someone running toward hope because they read what was written.
Sarah, you are not just writing books. You are writing lifelines. You are writing comfort for the grieving. You are writing redemption for the broken. You are writing truth for those who have believed lies too long.
Sometimes the whisper will come through joy.Sometimes it will come through pain.Sometimes it will come through memories you would rather forget.
But if He whispers it — write it.
Because somewhere, someone is praying for the very words you are afraid to release.
✨ Author Reflection
What has God been whispering to my heart lately?
Is fear keeping me from writing something He has already placed inside me?
Who might be waiting for my obedience?
🙏 Prayer
Father God,Thank You for the gift of words. Thank You for trusting me with stories, with testimonies, and with truth. Help me to write what You whisper, not what the world expects. Remove fear, comparison, and doubt. Let my pen be led by Your Spirit. Let every sentence bring healing, clarity, and hope. Use my writing to glorify You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
🌿 Encouragement for Today
Your calling to write is not an accident.Your voice matters.Your obedience matters.Your words matter.
Write what He whispers. 💜✍️
