✍️ Devotional Thought

As writers, we often focus on what we are creating.

The story.The message.The words on the page.

But today, God gently reminds us of something more important…

Who is at the center of it all?

Matthew 6:33 calls us to seek Him first—not after the writing is done, not when we have time, but first.

Before the words…Before the ideas…Before the plans…

Seek Him.

Because when God is at the center, everything else aligns.

John reminds us that Jesus is the Word.

That means when you write with Him, you are connected to the very source of truth, wisdom, and life.

Your writing becomes more than words…

It becomes something eternal.

Psalm 127 gives us a powerful truth:

If God is not the foundation, the work will feel heavy and empty.

But when He is the center…

✨ The words carry purpose✨ The message carries power✨ The impact reaches beyond what you can see

This is not about writing perfectly.

It’s about writing with Him.

Inviting Him into your process.Listening for His guidance.Trusting Him with every page.

So today, before you write anything…

Pause.

Pray.Seek Him.Invite Him in.

Because when God is at the center of your writing…

He will guide every word.

Father,Thank You for being the source of all truth and wisdom. Help me to keep You at the center of my writing and my life.
