One of the quickest ways to lose joy in your writing journey…

Is comparison.

Looking at another author’s success.Another writer’s platform.Another person’s progress.

And before long, you may start wondering:

“Why am I not there yet?”“Why is my journey taking longer?”“Am I doing enough?”

But God never called you to run someone else’s race.

Hebrews reminds us to run the race set before us.

Your race.Your calling.Your journey.

Galatians reminds us to focus on our own work instead of measuring ourselves against others.

Because comparison steals:

✨ Peace✨ Confidence✨ Creativity

Jeremiah reminds us that God has a plan specifically for you.

Not a copy of someone else’s story.

Your journey has its own timing.Its own lessons.Its own purpose.

And the truth is…

What God is building in you may take longer because He is preparing you for something deeper.

So today, stop looking side to side.

Look upward.

Celebrate where others are without doubting where God has you.

Trust your pace.Trust your growth.Trust God’s timing.

Because your story doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s to still be powerful.
