Living Close to the Lord, Walking Daily in His Will, Not Ours
Walking Humbly With God
šļø Key Scripture (KJV):āHe hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?āā Micah 6:8
š Devotional Thought:
Living close to the Lord requires a heart of humility.
Humility keeps us teachable. It reminds us that we do not have all the answers and that we need Godās wisdom daily. When we walk humbly with God, we acknowledge His authority, trust His guidance, and remain open to correction.
Humility is not thinking less of ourselvesāit is thinking less of ourselves and more of God. It allows us to approach Him with honesty, dependence, and faith.
Walking humbly also affects how we treat others. A humble heart shows kindness, extends mercy, and reflects Godās love in everyday interactions.
February 7th invites us to examine our hearts and ask: Am I walking humbly with God, or relying too much on my own strength?
The closer we walk with God, the more humility grows within us.
š Prayer Prompt:
Lord, help me walk humbly with You.Remove pride from my heart and teach me to depend on You daily.Shape my character to reflect Your love and grace.
āļø Reflection Questions:
⢠In what areas of my life do I need greater humility?⢠How does humility draw me closer to God?⢠How can I walk humbly with God in my daily interactions?
⨠Encouragement for Today
God is drawn to a humble heart.Walk gently.Stay close. He is guiding you every step of the way.Ā šš
