Beauty from Ashes

God Restores What Was Lost

🕊 Key Scripture (KJV):“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten…”— Joel 2:25

💎 Devotional Thought:

Sometimes the hardest part of our journey is not the pain itself—it’s the feeling that time was lost.

Lost opportunities.Lost relationships.Lost seasons of joy.

We may look back and think, “Those years are gone forever.” But God speaks a powerful promise in Joel 2:25: He restores what was lost.

God does not simply comfort us—He redeems what seemed wasted. The years that felt empty, broken, or painful are not beyond His reach. In His hands, even the hardest seasons can produce wisdom, compassion, strength, and purpose.

Restoration may not always look exactly the way we imagined, but it always carries the fingerprint of God’s grace. What once felt like ashes can become a testimony of His faithfulness.

Beauty from ashes means trusting that God can restore what we thought was gone forever.

🙏 Prayer:

Lord, thank You for being a God of restoration.Take the seasons that feel lost and redeem them for Your purpose.Help me trust that nothing in my life is wasted in Your hands.

✍️ Reflection Questions:

• Are there seasons of my life that feel lost or wasted?• How might God be using those experiences to shape me today?• What would it look like to trust God’s promise of restoration?

🌿 Today’s Challenge:

Think of one difficult season from your past.Instead of seeing it as lost time, ask God to reveal what He grew in you through it.

✨ Encouragement for Today

God does not waste pain.He redeems it.

The years may have felt empty—but in God’s hands, restoration is always possible. 💜📖
