As we grow in our relationship with the Holy Spirit, one important question often comes up:

How do I know it’s really God speaking?

The truth is, not every thought, feeling, or impression we have comes from God.

That’s why Scripture teaches us to discern—to test and recognize what is truly from Him.

The Holy Spirit’s voice has specific characteristics:

🌿 It aligns with God’s WordGod will never speak something that contradicts Scripture.

🌿 It brings peace, not confusionEven when it challenges you, His voice carries a sense of clarity and calm.

🌿 It leads toward righteousnessThe Holy Spirit always guides us toward truth, love, and obedience.

🌿 It convicts, not condemnsConviction gently corrects and draws you closer to God.Condemnation pushes you away and fills you with shame.

Learning to discern His voice takes time…

It grows as you:• Spend time in Scripture• Stay in prayer• Pay attention to His leading• Act in obedience

The more you walk with Him, the more clearly you will recognize His voice.

🌿 Discernment is not about fear—it’s about growing in confidence with God.

You don’t have to second-guess everything.

God is faithful to guide you.
