🔥 God Is Never Late

"And the Lord said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old? Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee…and Sarah shall have a son."— Genesis 18:13-14

💎 Devotional Thought

If we're honest, there are times when God's timing doesn't make sense to us.

Sometimes we look at the clock…

We look at our circumstances…

And we wonder:

✨ "Lord, why are You taking so long?"

Perhaps you've prayed for months.

Perhaps you've waited for years.

And maybe you've even begun to think:

"I've missed my opportunity."

"It's too late."

"Nothing is ever going to change."

But throughout Scripture, we see something remarkable:

🌿 God is never late.

Abraham and Sarah waited decades for God's promise.

Lazarus had been in the grave four days before Jesus arrived.

Martha thought Jesus had come too late.

But what Martha called "too late"…

✨ Jesus called "right on time."

Because God's timing isn't based on our schedules.

His timing is based on His wisdom.

And His wisdom is perfect.

Sometimes God allows delays so that His glory can shine brighter.

Sometimes He waits so our faith can grow deeper.

And sometimes He saves the best for the appointed time.

🌿 What feels late to us is never late to God.

The God who created time…

Knows exactly what He's doing with yours.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, help me trust Your timing even when I feel impatient.

When I think You are late, remind me that You are always right on time.

Strengthen my faith while I wait and help me rest in the truth that nothing is impossible with You.

Teach me to trust Your wisdom above my own understanding.

• What area of my life requires greater trust in His timing?

• How has God proven His faithfulness in the past?

🌿 Today's Challenge

Whenever you are tempted to say:

"God is taking too long…"

Replace it with:

✨ "God is never late. His timing is perfect."

Trust Him one more day.

Believe Him one more day.

Wait on Him one more day.
