💎 Devotional Thought

One of the most difficult parts of waiting is not knowing why.

Why is the answer delayed?

Why hasn't the door opened?

Why hasn't the situation changed?

Why does God seem silent?

We naturally want explanations. We want to understand the plan before we walk the path.

But faith often asks us to do the opposite.

🌿 Faith asks us to trust before we understand.

Proverbs 3:5 reminds us not to lean on our own understanding.

Why?

Because our perspective is limited.

We see today.

✨ God sees forever.

We see the obstacle.

✨ God sees the opportunity.

We see the delay.

✨ God sees the preparation.

Many times, God's greatest blessings come through seasons that made no sense while we were living them.

Joseph didn't understand the pit.

David didn't understand the years of waiting.

Abraham didn't understand the delay.

Yet God was working in every chapter.

And He is working in yours too.

Just because you don't understand what God is doing...

🌿 Doesn't mean He isn't doing something wonderful.

Sometimes faith means saying:

"Lord, I don't understand this season, but I trust You anyway."

That kind of trust honors God.

And that kind of faith grows stronger every day.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, help me trust You when I don't understand what You are doing.

When questions fill my mind, remind me that Your wisdom is greater than mine and Your plans are always good.

Teach me to walk by faith, not by sight, and help me rest in the confidence that You are working all things together for good.

• How has God worked things out in ways I couldn't understand in the past?

🌿 Today's Challenge

Whenever you catch yourself asking "Why?" today, pause and pray:

✨ "Lord, I may not understand, but I trust You."

Repeat it as often as needed.
