📖 Agape Love Daily Bible Study Community🌸 March Theme: Beauty from Ashes✨ Thursday, March 12th, 2026 Bible Study God Is Close to the Broken

🕊 Key Scripture (KJV)

“The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”— Psalm 34:18

💎 Devotional Thought

When our hearts are broken, it can sometimes feel like we are alone in our pain. The weight of grief, disappointment, or loss can make us feel distant from everyone—even from God.

But the truth of Scripture tells us something beautiful: God draws closest to us when our hearts are most broken.

Psalm 34:18 reminds us that God is not far away during our suffering. He is near. He sees every tear, hears every prayer, and understands every hurt we carry.

Often it is in our most difficult seasons that we experience God's presence in the deepest way. When we feel weak, He becomes our strength. When we feel lost, He becomes our guide.

The ashes in our lives do not push God away—they invite His comfort, His healing, and His restoring love.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, thank You for being close to me in the moments when my heart feels heavy.Help me remember that I am never alone, even in the hardest seasons.Draw near to me and bring comfort, healing, and peace.

✍️ Reflection Questions

• When have I felt God's presence most strongly during a difficult time?• Am I bringing my brokenness honestly before the Lord?• How can I lean on God more during challenging seasons?

🌿 Today's Challenge

Take a quiet moment today and talk honestly with God about what is on your heart. Remember that He is always near.

✨ Encouragement for Today

Your broken heart does not distance you from God.

It draws Him closer.

And in His presence, ashes begin to turn into beauty. 💜📖
