Theme for June: Faith During the Waiting

The Waiting Is Preparing You

📖 Scripture of the Day

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."— Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

As we come to the final day of June, it is a wonderful time to reflect on what God has been teaching us throughout this month. Waiting is one of the hardest parts of our Christian walk. We pray, we believe, and sometimes we wonder why the answer hasn't come yet. But God's delays are never without purpose.

Every season of waiting is a season of preparation. God is strengthening your faith, building your character, teaching you to trust Him more deeply, and preparing you for blessings you may not yet be ready to receive. If we received everything the moment we asked, we might miss the valuable lessons learned while depending completely on Him.

Perhaps this month you have been waiting for healing, a new job, financial provision, reconciliation, direction, or simply peace in the middle of life's storms. Take heart—God has not forgotten you. He sees every tear, hears every prayer, and knows every burden you carry.

Just as an eagle waits for the right wind before soaring high above the earth, we too must wait for God's perfect timing. When His time comes, you'll discover that every moment of waiting had a purpose.

Don't give up today. Continue praying. Continue believing. Continue serving. Continue trusting. God's promises are always worth the wait.

Sometimes the greatest miracle isn't the answer we receive—it's the person we become while we are waiting.

🙏 Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for walking beside me through every season of waiting. When I become discouraged, remind me that You are still working behind the scenes. Help me to trust Your timing even when I cannot see the outcome. Strengthen my faith, renew my hope, and teach me to rest in Your promises.

Thank You for every lesson You've taught me this month and for preparing me for what lies ahead. I choose to trust You today and every day.

Before June comes to a close, take a few quiet moments to thank God for three things He has taught you during this season of waiting. Then surrender one burden you've been carrying and intentionally leave it in His hands. Trust that His timing is perfect, even when the answer hasn't arrived yet.
