🌿 “Draw Near to Him” 🌿

Good morning, beautiful soul.

There are moments in life when God can feel distant.

Not because He has moved…but because life gets busy, heavy, and distracting.

We get caught up in responsibilities…burdens weigh on our hearts…and before we know it, we feel a little disconnected.

But here is a beautiful truth today:

God is never far away.

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you…”— James 4:8 (KJV)

Notice this invitation.

God doesn’t say, “Fix everything first.”He doesn’t say, “Be perfect, then come.”

He simply says—come closer.

When you take a step toward Him,He meets you right there.

“The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.”— Psalm 145:18 (KJV)

He is near when you pray.He is near when you seek Him.He is near even in your quiet moments.

You don’t need a perfect plan or long prayers.

Sometimes drawing near looks like:• Whispering His name• Opening your Bible for a few minutes• Sitting quietly in His presence

It’s not about perfection—it’s about connection.

So today…

If you feel distant—take a step closer.

If your heart feels heavy—bring it to Him.

If life feels overwhelming—pause and seek His presence.

He is waiting.

And He will meet you there.

What is one simple way I can draw closer to God today?

🙏 Prayer

Father,Thank You for always being near. Help me to draw closer to You today, no matter what I’m facing. Remove distractions, quiet my heart, and help me to seek You with sincerity. I want to walk closely with You each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
