“Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb?yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.”— Isaiah 49:15

🌿 Devotional Thought

Grief can sometimes bring a quiet fear:

“What if they are forgotten?”“What if life keeps moving and their memory fades?”“What if I am left carrying this alone?”

These thoughts can feel heavy on the heart.

Because when we love deeply, we want that love—and the life of the one we lost—to always matter.

But God speaks a powerful truth into that fear:

“I will not forget thee.”

God does not forget.

Not your loved one.Not your story.Not your pain.Not your love.

Every memory you carry…every tear you’ve cried…every moment you’ve walked through…

God has seen it all.

And He holds it with care.

Your loved one’s life mattered.Your love still matters.And your grief matters.

Nothing is overlooked.Nothing is dismissed.

You are not forgotten by God.

And neither is the love you carry.

So when that fear rises…

Rest in this truth:

You are seen.You are remembered.And you are held in His unfailing care.
