“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”— Jeremiah 29:11

🌿 Devotional Thought

Grief can sometimes make you question your future.

When loss changes your world, it’s easy to wonder:

“What now?”“Who am I without them here?”“How do I move forward?”

And while grief changes many things…

It does not erase your purpose.

God still sees your future.He still has plans for your life.And He is still walking beside you through every step ahead.

Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God’s thoughts toward us are thoughts of peace and hope.

Even when life feels uncertain…even when the road feels different than you imagined…

God is not finished with your story.

Your grief matters.Your healing matters.And so does your life.

There may be days when your purpose feels hidden beneath the pain.

But little by little, God will help you rediscover hope.

Maybe through encouraging someone else…through sharing your story…through loving others deeply because you understand loss…

God can still bring beauty, compassion, and meaning from broken places.

Not because the loss was good—

But because His love is greater than the pain.

So today…

Do not believe the lie that your life no longer matters.

You are still here for a reason.

And even in grief—

God still has a purpose for you.

Lord,When grief makes the future feel uncertain, remind us that You still hold our lives in Your hands. Help us trust that You still have purpose, hope, and peace ahead for us. Strengthen us one day at a time and guide us gently forward.In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
