“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.”— 1 Corinthians 13:13

🌿 Devotional Thought

One of the deepest fears grief can bring is the fear of losing connection.

You may wonder:

“What happens to all the love we shared?”“How do I keep carrying them with me?”“Will people remember them the way I do?”

But love this deep does not disappear.

Real love leaves fingerprints on the heart.

The kindness they showed…the lessons they taught…the laughter you shared…the way they made you feel loved…

Those things continue living on within you.

1 Corinthians 13 reminds us that love remains.

Not even death can erase the impact of genuine love.

Their love may now live differently—through memories…through traditions…through the way you love others because of them.

Sometimes you may catch yourself smiling at something they would have said…hearing their voice in your heart…or feeling comforted by a memory that suddenly surfaces.

That is love continuing.

So today…

Do not be afraid to hold onto the connection.

Speak their name.Share their stories.Honor the life they lived.

Because the people we love never truly leave the hearts they touched.

And neither does the love they gave.

Lord,Thank You for the gift of love that continues even through grief. Help us cherish the memories and connections we still carry in our hearts. Bring comfort when we miss our loved ones deeply, and remind us that love never truly fades away.In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
