Memories are one of the most sacred gifts we carry through grief.

They remind us of love…of moments that mattered…of lives that made a lasting impact on our hearts.

Today, I want to share a memory close to my heart.

I remember the day my amazing son graduated high school at just 16 years old—with honors.

He was so gifted…so talented…and I was so incredibly proud of him.

That moment is forever etched in my heart.

The joy.The pride.The love.

Grief may bring tears when we remember…but it also reminds us of how deeply we were blessed.

That kind of love doesn’t disappear.

It lives on in every memory…every milestone remembered…every proud moment we hold onto.

Philippians 1:3 says, “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.”

Even in grief, we can thank God for the gift of their life…for the moments we were given…for the love that still remains.

So today…

Hold onto your memories.Speak them.Share them.

Because love like that never fades.

It continues to live on—in your heart,in your story,and in the legacy they left behind.

Lord,Thank You for the gift of memories. Thank You for the love we shared with those we miss so deeply. Help us hold onto those moments with both tenderness and gratitude. Comfort our hearts as we remember, and remind us that love never ends.In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
