ā Good Morning, Sweet Friends!
Happy Wednesday and goodbye, September!
Here we are on the very last day of September! Tomorrow we welcome October, with its beautiful autumn colors, cooler mornings, harvest celebrations, and reminders of God's wonderful creation.
As I sit here enjoying my morning coffee, I cannot help but reflect on how quickly time passes. It seems we just welcomed September, and now another month is coming to a close.
But you know what? Every ending gives us an opportunity to reflect on where God has brought us and to trust Him with where He is taking us.

Remembering St. Jerome ā Bible Translator
September 30 is observed in several Christian traditions as the Feast of St. Jerome.
Jerome, who died in A.D. 420, is remembered for his extensive work translating the Scriptures into Latin. His scholarship helped make the Bible accessible to generations of Christians.
His feast day is also why September 30 was selected as International Translation Day.

š” Heritage Corner ā Remembering Autumn Traditions
Years ago, September was an important time for many farming families.
Gardens were being harvested, vegetables were canned, apples were gathered, and pantries were stocked for the coming winter.
Families passed down recipes, traditions, and practical skills from one generation to the next.
Some of my favorite things about heritage are the simple memories: homemade apple butter, quilts, family recipes written on old cards, and grandparents sharing stories around the kitchen table.
These traditions remind us that some of the greatest treasures we inherit aren't things we can buy. They're the lessons, love, faith, and memories passed down through generations.
š¬ Heritage Question:Ā Did your family make apple butter, can vegetables, or prepare special foods for winter? What autumn tradition do you remember most?

š Today's Bible Reading
Lamentations 3:22ā26 (KJV)
Take a few quiet moments today to read these five verses and reflect on God's mercy, compassion, and faithfulness.
Our key verse is Lamentations 3:23:
"They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."
š» Today's Inspiration ā Don't Carry Yesterday Into Tomorrow
As we close September, I want to leave you with this thought.
Some of us entered this month carrying burdens, and some are leaving it still waiting for answers.
But remember, an unanswered prayer does not mean God has stopped listening.
Maybe September wasn't everything you hoped it would be. Maybe there were disappointments or tears. But you are still here, and God's mercy is still sufficient.
Tomorrow is a new month, but we don't have to wait until tomorrow to begin again.
We can forgive today.
We can encourage someone today.
We can thank God today.
And we can trust Him today.
š Today's Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for another beautiful morning and for carrying us through September. Thank You for the blessings we saw and the unseen ways You cared for us.
As we prepare for October, help us carry forward the lessons You have taught us and leave behind the worries we need to surrender.
Bless our families, our homes, our communities, and those who are struggling today. Help us preserve the good things handed down to us while teaching the next generation to love You and follow Your Word.
In Jesus' precious name, Amen. ā¤ļø
š Today's Closing Thought
We cannot go back and rewrite yesterday, but with God's help, we can walk into tomorrow with faith, hope, and a thankful heart.
Have a wonderful Wednesday, sweet friends! May your coffee be warm, your hearts be encouraged, and your day be filled with little reminders of God's goodness.
