šŸ’œ Agape Love Grief Support Devotional March 4 God Sees Every Tear

God Sees Every Tear

šŸ“– Scripture (KJV)

Psalm 34:18

ā€œThe LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.ā€

Psalm 56:8

ā€œThou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?ā€

🌿 Devotional Thought

Grief can feel like a lonely road.

Some days the pain is loud and heavy.Other days it quietly lingers in the background.

A song…A smell…A memory…

And suddenly your heart aches all over again.

One of the hardest parts of grief is wondering if anyone truly understands the depth of what you feel.

But Scripture reminds us of something incredibly tender:

God sees every tear.

Not one tear is wasted. Not one cry is unheard. Not one broken moment is overlooked.

Psalm 56 tells us that God collects our tears in a bottle. Imagine that — the Creator of the universe cares so deeply that He keeps record of every tear you shed.

That means your pain matters to Him.

Even when others don’t understand your grief…Even when the world moves on…Even when the silence feels overwhelming…

God is near.

Psalm 34:18 promises that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted. Not distant. Not distracted. Close.

Today, if your heart feels heavy, know this:

You are not grieving alone.

God walks beside you through every memory, every tear, and every quiet moment of healing.

And slowly, gently, He will begin turning your sorrow into strength.

🌿 Reflection

  • What memory of your loved one brings you comfort today?

  • Have you allowed yourself to bring your grief honestly to God?

  • Can you rest in the truth that He is near to your broken heart?

šŸ™ Prayer

Father God,You see every tear and every ache in my heart. When grief feels overwhelming, remind me that You are close to the brokenhearted. Give me peace in the memories, comfort in the quiet moments, and strength for each day ahead. Help me trust that You are walking with me through this valley. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
