✍️The Small Things Matter

Scripture

"Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful." — 1 Corinthians 4:2 (KJV)

Good morning, authors!

Have you ever looked at your writing and thought, I didn't accomplish enough today?

Perhaps you only wrote one paragraph.

Maybe you edited a single page.

Maybe all you did was organize your notes, research a topic, or jot down a few ideas in a notebook.

And because the progress seemed small, you convinced yourself that it didn't really count.

But can I encourage you today?

The small things matter.

One sentence becomes a paragraph.

One paragraph becomes a page.

One page becomes a chapter.

And one chapter eventually becomes a finished book.

We often celebrate the completed manuscript while forgetting to appreciate the small, faithful steps that made it possible.

🌿 Faithfulness Is Built One Step at a Time

God rarely reveals the entire journey all at once.

Instead, He teaches us to trust Him in the small moments.

The short prayer.

The quiet study time.

The single page of writing.

The faithful act of showing up again today.

Sometimes we become so focused on the destination that we fail to recognize the beauty of the journey.

Don't underestimate today's progress simply because it seems small.

Seeds begin small.

Mustard seeds are tiny.

Yet God uses small things to accomplish extraordinary purposes.

💜 Don't Despise Small Beginnings

"For who hath despised the day of small things?" — Zechariah 4:10 (KJV)

That unfinished manuscript?

Keep working.

That devotional you're writing?

Keep going.

That testimony you've been hesitant to share?

Write it.

God isn't asking you to complete the entire project today.

He's simply asking you to be faithful with the assignment He's placed before you.

✍️ Every Word Matters

Every testimony matters.

Every prayer matters.

Every devotional matters.

Every encouraging message matters.

And every word written in obedience to God has the potential to change a life.

You may never know the full impact of what you're writing.

But God does.

And that's enough.

🙏 Tuesday Author Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for reminding us that faithfulness is often found in the small things.

Help us stop measuring our progress by what we haven't accomplished and begin celebrating the steps we've already taken.

Give us the courage to keep moving forward, even when the journey feels slow.

Strengthen our hearts, guide our words, and help us remain faithful to the calling You have placed upon our lives.

May every sentence we write bring honor and glory to You.

In Jesus' precious name,

Amen.
