✍️ Author Devotional – December 14, 2025

Theme: Writing From Love, Not Pressure Scripture:“Let all your things be done with charity.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14 (KJV)

As the days move closer to Christmas, expectations can quietly grow louder — deadlines, plans, posts, projects, and the unspoken pressure to “keep up.” But God gently reminds you today that your writing was never meant to come from pressure — it was meant to flow from love.

Love is the source of every God-inspired word.Love for Him.Love for the people who will read your words.Love for the calling He placed on your heart.

When writing comes from pressure, it feels heavy. When writing comes from love, it feels honest, warm, and life-giving.

God does not rush you. He invites you. He doesn’t demand performance; He desires sincerity. Even a few words written with love can carry more impact than pages written from stress or obligation.

As an author walking with Christ, your words are an extension of His heart. Let them be gentle. Let them be thoughtful. Let them be rooted in love — especially during this season when hearts are tender and many are quietly hurting.

Today, release the pressure.Return to love.Write from a place of compassion, grace, and joy.

Reflection Prayer:

Lord, help me lay down pressure and pick up love. Let my writing today come from a heart filled with Your compassion and peace. Guide my words so they reflect Your love and bring encouragement to those who read them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge:Write one short piece today — a sentence, a paragraph, or a prayer — intentionally rooted in love. Don’t rush it. Don’t perfect it. Just let love lead the way.
