This easy chuckwagon-style bake is perfect for busy nights, potlucks, or feeding a hungry family around the table.

1 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon oil or bacon grease
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 packet taco seasoning
1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 cup corn
1 bag frozen tater tots
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Optional: sour cream, green onions, or jalapeños for topping
