Craft: âSnowy Bethlehem Silhouette Ornamentâ đâď¸
Theme:Â A peaceful winter night in Bethlehem, celebrating the birth of our Savior.
⨠What Youâll Need:
1 clear plastic or glass ornament (flat or round)
Black cardstock (for the silhouette)
White glitter or faux snow
Mod Podge or clear glue
Tweezers
Silver ribbon or twine
Optional embellishments:
Gold star sticker
Mini rhinestones
Silver paint pen
đ Directions:
1. Create the Bethlehem Silhouette
Cut a small curved strip from black cardstock to represent the ground.
Add simple building shapes (domes, rectangles, arches).
Optional: Cut a tiny manger or stable shape to place in the center.
Keep pieces small enough to fit comfortably inside the ornament.
2. Insert the Scene
Carefully curl the silhouette slightly and insert it into the ornament.
Use tweezers to gently position it so it stands upright.
3. Add Snow
Pour a small amount of glitter or faux snow inside the ornament.
Shake gently so it settles around the silhouette like a peaceful winter night.
4. Seal & Decorate
Replace the ornament top.
Tie silver ribbon or twine around the cap.
Add a gold star sticker on the outside to symbolize the Star of Bethlehem.
5. Hang or Gift
Display on your tree, give as a gift, or attach to a present for a meaningful touch.
âď¸ Faith Reflection:
Micah 5:2 (KJV)Â â âOut of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel.â
This ornament beautifully reminds us that Jesus came quietly into the world, yet changed it forever. đ
