Craft: ā€œSnowflake Prayer Spinnerā€Ā ā„ļøšŸ™āœØ

Theme:Ā A beautiful snowflake that spins to reveal different people or things to pray for — a meaningful way to keep Christ at the center of the season.

Perfect for families, classrooms, Sunday school, or personal devotion time!

ā¤ļø What You’ll Need:

  • CardstockĀ (white, blue, or silver)

  • Snowflake cutoutĀ (paper or foam)

  • Brad fastenerĀ (paper fastener)

  • Circle cutoutĀ (acts as the spinner base)

  • Markers or gel pens

  • Hole punch

  • Optional:

    • Glitter

    • Rhinestones

    • Ribbon for hanging

    • Stickers

✨ Directions:

1. Create the Base Circle

Cut a circle from cardstock (3–4 inches wide).Divide it into 6–8 sections like a pie.

Write one item in each section, such as:

  • Family

  • Friends

  • Church

  • Our nation

  • The hurting

  • The lonely

  • Missionaries

  • ā€œThank You Jesusā€

2. Prepare the Snowflake

Cut or purchase a decorative snowflake from cardstock or foam.Punch a hole in the center.

3. Assemble the Spinner

Place the snowflake on top of the circle, aligning the center holes.Insert the brad fastener so the snowflake spins freely.

Cut a small ā€œwindowā€ or opening in one snowflake arm so only one prayer prompt shows at a time.

4. Decorate the Snowflake

Add:

  • Glitter

  • Rhinestones

  • Blue accents

  • ā€œPrayā€ or ā€œJesusā€ written on the front

5. Optional: Add a Hanging Loop

Punch a small hole at the top and add ribbon to hang it on:

  • A Christmas tree

  • A prayer corner

  • A fridge

  • A child’s room
