Craft: âLighted Ladder Christmas Treeâ (Ladder Repurpose) đđĄâ¨
Theme:Letting the light of Christ shine â building upward in faith as we prepare our hearts for Christmas.
This craft is STUNNING at night and looks amazing on porches, patios, and inside entryways.
â¤ď¸ What Youâll Need:
Old wooden ladder (step ladder or straight ladder)
String lights (white or warm white work beautifully)
Green garland (pine, cedar, or faux greenery)
Zip ties or twist ties
Star topper (metal, wood, or lighted)
Optional decorations:
Ornaments
Ribbon bows
Scripture tags
Bells
Pinecones
⨠Directions:
1. Position the Ladder
Open the ladder into an A-frame or lean a straight ladder securely against a wall or porch post.
2. Add Greenery
Wrap garland around each rung, starting at the bottom and working your way up.Secure with zip ties or twist ties.
3. Add the Lights
Wrap string lights around the ladder, weaving them through the greenery.Tuck cords neatly so they donât show.
4. Decorate
Add:
Ornaments hanging from rungs
Ribbon bows tied at each level
Pinecones or bells
Scripture tags like:
âJesus Is the Lightâ
âPrepare Him Roomâ
âJoy to the Worldâ
5. Top It Off
Place a star at the very top of the ladder to represent the Star of Bethlehem.
