Craft: âOld Sled Christmas Signâ (Sled Repurpose) đˇđâ¨
Theme:Turning something from the past into a joyful message of Christmas â simple, nostalgic, and faith-filled.
This is a SHOWSTOPPER on porches, entryways, and walls!
â¤ď¸ What Youâll Need:
Old wooden sled (or sled dÊcor piece)
White or neutral paint (optional)
Black marker, paint pen, or vinyl letters
Greenery (pine, cedar, or faux)
Red ribbon or buffalo-plaid ribbon
Hot glue gun or zip ties
Optional:
Bells
Wooden star
Scripture tag
Light distressing sandpaper
⨠Directions:
1. Prep the Sled
Leave the sled natural for rustic charm, or paint it white/cream and lightly sand edges for a farmhouse look.
2. Add the Message
Choose one phrase and center it down the sled:
JOY
NOEL
WELCOME
O HOLY NIGHT
PREPARE HIM ROOM
Use paint pen or vinyl letters for a clean finish.
3. Decorate the Top
Tie greenery and ribbon at the top handle or crossbar.Add bells or a small wooden star for extra charm.
4. Optional Faith Touch
Attach a small scripture tag:
