Daily Devotional for the Grieving Heart

💧 Daily Devotional for the Grieving Heart

📅 Thursday, May 15, 2025Title: “Carried Through”

Scripture of the Day (KJV):"Even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you."—Isaiah 46:4

Reflection:Grief is heavy. Some days it feels impossible to move forward. But the promise of God is not that we must carry the weight alone—it is that He will carry us.

He knows when you’re too tired to pray. He sees when the tears come before your eyes even open. And He does not step away—He steps closer. In the moments when you feel most alone, He is bearing you up with strength that never runs out.

When we don’t know what to do next, we can rest in the One who has been faithful through every season. He will carry, bear, and deliver—because He loves you with an everlasting love.

Encouraging Scriptures (KJV):🕊 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” —Matthew 11:28🕊 “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” —Psalm 147:3🕊 “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.” —2 Corinthians 12:9

Prayer:Father God,Thank You for carrying me when I cannot carry myself. On the days when grief feels too great, remind me that You are greater. Lift my heart. Speak peace into the places that ache. And gently guide me through this valley, one step at a time. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Closing Thought:You are not walking this path alone. You are being carried by the One who made you, who knows you, and who loves you beyond measure. Grief may come in waves—but so does His grace.
