š Daily Devotional ā Love Found in a Manger
Theme:Ā Godās Love Came Close and Personal
Scripture: āFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Sonā¦āā John 3:16 (KJV)
Reflection: As we enter the final days before Christmas, our hearts are drawn once again to the mangerāa simple, quiet place where the greatest expression of love the world has ever known was revealed.
Godās love did not arrive wrapped in luxury or announced with earthly power. It came wrapped in humility. It came gently. It came close. A baby lying in a manger declared a powerful truth: Godās love is personal.
Jesus came not because the world was worthy, but because the world was loved. He came for the broken, the weary, the lost, and the hopeful. He came for every heart longing to be seen, known, and redeemed.
Christmas reminds us that love is not distant or conditional. Godās love stepped into humanity, breathed our air, and walked our roads so that we could know Himānot just as Creator, but as Savior.
As Christmas approaches, let this truth settle deeply into your heart:⨠You are loved.⨠You are seen.⨠You are worth coming for.
Meditation:Pause for a moment and whisper:āThank You, Lord, for loving me enough to come.āLet gratitude and peace fill your heart.
Prayer:Father, thank You for loving the worldāand meāso deeply that You gave Your Son. As Christmas draws near, help me reflect that same love to others. Let my heart be filled with gratitude, humility, and awe as I remember the miracle of the manger. In Jesusā name, Amen. š
