šŸ’œ Loved Enough to Rest

Finding Peace in God’s Unfailing Love

ā€œCome unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.ā€ā€” Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

Reflection: Agape love not only saves us—it invites us to rest. God never intended for us to live weighed down by constant striving, guilt, or exhaustion of the soul. His love calls us out of pressure and into peace.

So many of us carry heavy loads:

  • expectations we feel we must meet

  • worries about tomorrow

  • regrets from yesterday

But Jesus speaks gently and clearly: Come to Me.Not after you fix everything. Not when you’re stronger. Not when you feel worthy.

Just… come.

Agape love makes room for rest because it assures us that we are already accepted. When we rest in God’s love, we stop trying to earn what has already been freely given. We learn to breathe again, trust again, and live from a place of peace instead of pressure.

Today, let yourself lay down what is heavy. God’s love is strong enough to carry it.

Meditation: Sit quietly and reflect: What burden do I need to place at the feet of Jesus today?Release it and receive His rest.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me enough to invite me into rest. Help me release the burdens I was never meant to carry and trust You with every concern on my heart. Teach me to live rooted in Your peace and secure in Your love. I rest in You today. Amen. šŸ’œ
