Theme: Let Your Light Shine

Scripture (KJV):“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” – Matthew 5:14

Reflection:Every day, we are given a choice—to blend in with the darkness of the world or to shine brightly for Jesus. The world is full of fear, anger, and division, but as believers, we are called to be different—to bring hope, peace, and love wherever we go.

Sometimes shining your light means standing firm in truth when it would be easier to stay silent. Other times, it’s offering kindness to someone who doesn’t deserve it, or showing grace when others expect judgment. Even a simple smile, an encouraging word, or a prayer for someone can reflect the heart of Christ.

You may not always see the impact of your light, but God does. Light doesn’t have to shout to make a difference—it just has to shine. In a world growing darker by the day, your light matters more than ever.

Don’t let discouragement dim your glow. Don’t let criticism make you hide. God placed His light within you for a purpose—so that others can see His love through your life.

Devotional Thought:You may be the only light some people will ever see—so let them see Jesus shining through you.

Prayer:Lord, thank You for filling me with Your light. Help me to reflect Your love in everything I do. Give me courage to stand strong in my faith and compassion to reach others with kindness. Let my words, actions, and heart all bring glory to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
