🌤 Daily Devotional – Strength for the Journey
Theme:Â God Gives the Strength We Cannot Find on Our Own
Scripture:“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”— Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
Reflection:There are days when our strength feels small. Days when the weight of responsibility, sorrow, or exhaustion presses hard against our spirit. But God never intended for us to walk this journey in our own strength. He invites us to wait on Him—to lean into His presence, His promises, and His power.
When we wait upon the Lord, something supernatural happens. Our weary hearts are renewed. Our tired minds are refreshed. Our burdened souls lift like eagles on the wind. The strength He gives is not temporary but sustaining—strength that carries us through valleys and climbs with us to mountaintop moments.
No matter how heavy today feels, God’s strength is ready and available. You don’t have to do this alone.
Meditation:Close your eyes and breathe deeply. Imagine releasing every worry into God’s hands. Let Him lift your spirit today. Whisper: “Lord, renew my strength.”
Prayer:Heavenly Father, thank You for being my source of strength. When I feel weak, You lift me up. When I feel weary, You refresh my spirit. Teach me to wait upon You and to trust that Your strength will carry me through each step of this journey. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 💜
Additional Scriptures to Reflect On:
Psalm 73:26 (KJV) – “My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart…”
2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV) – “My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Philippians 4:13 (KJV) – “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
