đŸŒ€ Daily Devotional: “When the Tears Fall”

"Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?”— Psalm 56:8 (KJV)

There are days when the tears seem endless—when memories wash over your heart so strongly that it feels like the loss just happened yesterday. Grief doesn’t follow a schedule. It rises and falls like the tide, catching you by surprise even when you thought you were healing.

But here’s the beautiful truth: God sees every single tear. Not one escapes His notice. In fact, Scripture tells us He keeps them in a bottle—each one precious, remembered, and accounted for. To Him, your sorrow is not wasted; it’s sacred.

The Lord doesn’t rush your healing. He walks beside you through it. He listens when words fail and whispers peace into your pain. Even when you can’t find strength to pray, the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26).

Every tear tells a story of love, of longing, and of the deep capacity God placed in your heart to care for others. And though this season may feel heavy, hope still shines through—it’s found in the One who will one day “wipe away all tears from their eyes” (Revelation 21:4).

💛 Prayer:

Heavenly Father,Thank You for seeing my tears and understanding my pain when no one else can. Help me to rest in Your compassion and remember that my sorrow matters to You. Heal my heart little by little, and let every tear draw me closer to Your everlasting love.In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
