🌿 **December 1–13 Devotional Recap:ā€œWalking Through December With God’s Comfortā€**

The first thirteen days of December remind us of a sacred truth:grief and hope can walk side by side.

As this month began, we were gently reminded that God meets us exactly where we are—not where we think we should be. In the quiet mornings, the heavy evenings, and the unexpected waves of emotion, His presence remained constant. Each devotional pointed us back to a God who is near to the brokenhearted and patient with the healing process.

✨ What God Has Been Teaching Our Hearts:

šŸ¤ You Are Not AloneFrom the very beginning of December, we were reminded again and again that God walks with us through loss. He holds our hand through the hard days, carries us when our strength runs thin, and never turns away from our tears.

šŸ¤ Healing Is Gentle, Not RushedThese days emphasized that grief has no timeline. God does not hurry our healing. Instead, He gently leads, restores slowly, and gives grace for the pace our hearts can manage.

šŸ¤ Strength Is Given DailyWe learned that God does not give strength all at once—but as our days are, so shall our strength be. Each morning brought new mercy, fresh compassion, and just enough grace to get through that day.

šŸ¤ Love Never DiesThroughout these devotionals, we were reminded that love does not end with loss. Memories are treasures, not wounds. Love lives on in stories, traditions, and the quiet ways our loved ones shaped us.

šŸ¤ God Meets Us in the Quiet MomentsIn the stillness of December—when decorations are up but hearts may feel heavy—God’s comfort settles in softly. He meets us in the silence, the missing, and the moments when words fail.

šŸ¤ The Holidays Can Look Different—and That’s OkayAs we approached the holiday season, we were reminded that it’s okay to celebrate differently, rest more, and honor loved ones in meaningful ways. Grief does not cancel gratitude, and joy does not betray love.

🌟 A Truth to Carry Forward:

From December 1 through December 13, one message remained steady:

God is faithful.God is gentle.God is present.

He has been our refuge, our strength, our comfort, and our hope. As we move forward into the rest of December, we do so knowing we are held—by everlasting arms, unending love, and mercies that are new every single morning.

šŸ’› Closing Prayer for December 1–13:

Lord,Thank You for walking with us through these first days of December. Thank You for Your patience, Your comfort, and Your unfailing love. As we continue through this season, help us hold onto hope, honor our loved ones, and rest in Your presence. Carry us gently through the days ahead. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
