📖 Following Your Calling in Jesus – Day Three

Theme: You Were Chosen on Purpose

Scripture (KJV):

"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."

— John 15:16

Devotion:

You didn’t stumble into God’s plan—He chose you on purpose. Before you ever reached out for Him, He reached out for you. You are not overlooked, not disqualified, and certainly not forgotten. Jesus looked at you and said, “That one—I choose her. I choose him. I have a plan.”

Your calling is more than a title or task—it’s a lifelong relationship with Jesus where He grows fruit through your life. The kind of fruit that lasts. Love, joy, peace, kindness… these are the marks of a soul walking close with Him.

You were chosen not to blend in, but to stand out in faith. Wherever God has placed you today—at home, at work, in a hard place or a healing one—you are called to bear fruit that points others to Jesus.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for choosing me when I felt unworthy. Help me remember that I am Yours, chosen and ordained to carry Your love and truth wherever I go. Let my life bear fruit that glorifies You and draws others closer to Your heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge:

Make a list of three people who need to see the love of Jesus today. Pray over them and find one intentional way to reflect Christ to at least one of them.
