šŸ“– January Bible Study — New Beginnings in Christ

January 1st, 2026: Stop Looking Back — Step Into the Future Jesus Has for You

šŸ•Šļø Key Scripture (KJV):ā€œRemember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?ā€ā€” Isaiah 43:18–19

šŸ“š Devotional Thought:

Today marks the first day of a new year—and more importantly, a new seasonĀ God is inviting us into.

January 1st is not just a change of dates on a calendar. It is a divine reminder that God specializes in new beginnings. While the world encourages us to relive the past—replaying regrets, failures, losses, or missed opportunities—Jesus gently calls us forward.

The past may have shaped you, but it does not define you.Your mistakes do not cancel God’s plans.Your losses do not erase His promises.

God speaks clearly in Isaiah 43: ā€œRemember ye not the former things.ā€He is not dismissing your experiences—He is freeing you from being bound by them.

Jesus offers a future filled with hope, restoration, purpose, and growth. But to receive it, we must loosen our grip on what is behind us and trust Him with what lies ahead.

Paul echoes this truth when he says he presses forward—forgetting what is behind and reaching for what is ahead (Philippians 3:13). Faith always moves forward. Hope always looks ahead.

As we begin 2026, this first study invites you to ask:Am I willing to trust Jesus with my future more than I cling to my past?

Because the future Jesus has for you is not built on yesterday—it is built on His faithfulness.

šŸ“– Daily Bible Reading — January 1st:Genesis 1–2(The beginning of God’s creation—perfectly fitting for a year of new beginnings.)

šŸ™ Prayer Prompt:

Lord, as I step into this new year, help me release what is behind me.Heal what still hurts, forgive what still lingers, and restore what has been broken.I choose to trust You with my future.Lead me forward into all You have planned for me in 2026.

āœļø Reflection Questions:

• What is God asking me to let go of as I begin this new year?• Where have I been looking backward instead of trusting God forward?• What does stepping into Jesus’ future look like for me personally?

✨ Closing Encouragement

You are not behind. You are not forgotten. You are not disqualified.

You are called, loved, and guidedĀ by Jesus.

Welcome to 2026.The future is ahead—and Jesus is already there. šŸ’œāœØ
