📖 January Bible Study — New Beginnings in Christ Day 14 – January 14th, 2026: Pressing Forward With Purpose

Pressing Forward With Purpose

đŸ•Šïž Key Scripture (KJV):“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”— Philippians 3:14

📚 Devotional Thought:

By the middle of January, the excitement of a new year can begin to fade, and old habits may try to creep back in. This is why Paul’s words are so powerful—faith requires intention.

Pressing forward doesn’t mean life gets easier. It means we make a conscious decision to keep moving toward God’s calling, even when distractions, discouragement, or weariness appear.

Paul knew hardship. He knew loss. He knew regret. Yet he made a firm choice:He would not live looking backward—he would press forward with purpose.

God has placed a calling on your life that is worth pursuing. Not a rushed calling. Not a forced calling. But a steady, faithful walk toward what He has prepared.

January 14th reminds us that the future Jesus has for you is not accidental—it is intentional. Every step of obedience, every prayer, every moment of trust is part of that journey.

You may not see the finish line yet, but God does. And He is strengthening you to keep going.

📖 Daily Bible Reading — January 14th:Genesis 31–32(A reminder that forward movement often requires faith, perseverance, and trust in God’s protection.)

🙏 Prayer Prompt:

Lord, help me press forward without fear or hesitation. When I feel tired or distracted, remind me of the calling You’ve placed on my life.Give me endurance, focus, and faith as I continue walking toward Your purpose.

✍ Reflection Questions:

‱ Where do I feel God calling me to press forward right now?‱ What distractions might be slowing my spiritual progress?‱ How can I stay focused on God’s purpose for my life this week?
