šŸ“– January Bible Study — New Beginnings in Christ Day 7 – January 7th, 2026: God Goes Before You

šŸ•Šļø Key Scripture (KJV):ā€œAnd the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.ā€ā€” Deuteronomy 31:8

šŸ“š Devotional Thought:

One of the greatest comforts for a believer is knowing this truth: God goes before you.

As we continue into this new year, it’s natural to wonder what lies ahead. Questions about the future can bring uncertainty, fear, or hesitation. But Scripture reminds us that we never step into tomorrow alone.

God is already there.

He goes before us to prepare the way. He walks beside us to strengthen us. He remains behind us to guard and protect us.

When God told Joshua to lead the people forward, He didn’t promise an easy journey—but He did promise His presence. The same is true for us. God does not remove every challenge, but He never removes Himself.

January 7th is a reminder that you don’t have to be afraid of what’s ahead. The future may be unknown to you, but it is fully known—and lovingly held—by God.

Stop looking back at what you can’t change. Stop fearing what you can’t control. Look forward with confidence, knowing that the Lord goes before you.

The future Jesus has for you is not something to fear—it is something to trust Him with.

šŸ“– Daily Bible Reading — January 7th:Genesis 15–17(God reassures Abram of His promises and faithfulness, reminding us that God keeps His Word.)

šŸ™ Prayer Prompt:

Lord, thank You for going before me. When the future feels uncertain, remind me that You are already there. Help me walk forward with courage, faith, and confidence in Your presence.

āœļø Reflection Questions:

• What fears about the future do I need to place in God’s hands today?• How does knowing God goes before me bring peace to my heart?• Where is God asking me to trust Him more fully as I move forward?

✨ Encouragement for Today

You are not behind. You are not alone. You are not forgotten.

God is ahead of you—preparing the way.

Walk forward in faith. šŸ’œ
