"Peace in the Waiting"

"Peace in the Waiting"

Reflection:Waiting is one of the hardest things to do. Whether you’re waiting on healing, provision, direction, or a long-awaited breakthrough, the silence can feel overwhelming. But in the stillness, God is working. His delays are not His denials—they are often seasons of preparation. The waiting room of faith is where trust is deepened and roots grow strong.

When everything in you wants to rush ahead, let God’s peace hold you still. Trust that what He has for you is worth the wait. He knows the perfect time, and He has not forgotten you. While you wait, worship. While you wait, pray. While you wait, remember that He’s always on time.

📖 Scripture (KJV):"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."— Isaiah 40:31

Prayer:Father, help me in the waiting. When I grow weary or discouraged, remind me that You are preparing something far greater than I can imagine. Renew my strength and teach me to trust Your timing. I choose to rest in Your promises and wait in faith. Amen.

Daily Devotional for the Agape Love Website: "Peace in the Waiting"

Reflection:God sees you in the waiting. Each tear, each prayer, each moment of silence is not wasted. He is weaving purpose into your pause and beauty into your delay. The Lord is not idle—He’s aligning everything for your good and His glory.

Even when your heart aches, lean into His presence. Let your faith grow deeper. Choose praise over panic and trust over doubt. The peace you’re seeking is found in His presence—not in the answers, but in the assurance that He is with you.

📖 Scripture (KJV):"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."— Isaiah 40:31

Prayer:Jesus, thank You for being near in my waiting. Help me not to lose heart, but to gain faith. Teach me to wait with expectancy, to worship with joy, and to trust that what You are preparing for me is beautiful beyond measure. Amen.
