šŸ“– The True Meaning of Christmas — December Bible Study December 24th: Hope Lives — Jesus Is AlivešŸ“– Luke Chapter 24

šŸ•Šļø Key Scripture (KJV):ā€œWhy seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen.ā€ā€” Luke 24:5–6

šŸ“š Devotional Thought:

On Christmas Eve, we pause between anticipation and celebration. And Luke 24 meets us in that sacred space with the most powerful truth of all:

Jesus is alive.

The women come to the tomb expecting death—but instead they encounter resurrection. The stone is rolled away. The grave is empty. Hope stands where despair once lived.

This chapter reminds us that Christmas is not only about a birth—it is about victory.

The baby laid in a manger grew into the Savior who conquered the grave. The promise spoken in Bethlehem was fulfilled in resurrection power. And because Jesus lives, everything changes.

Luke 24 also shows us the tender compassion of Jesus. He walks with discouraged disciples on the road to Emmaus, listens to their sorrow, and gently opens Scripture to help them understand God’s plan. Their hearts burn as truth is revealed.

Isn’t that just like Jesus?

He meets us in our confusion. He walks with us in our grief. He opens our eyes to hope.

Christmas Eve reminds us that our faith does not rest on tradition alone—it rests on a living Savior.

Because Jesus lives:• forgiveness is real• hope is secure• peace is possible• joy is eternal

As we prepare to celebrate His birth, Luke 24 reminds us that we worship not a memory—but a risen King.

šŸŽ„ Christmas Eve Reflection: From the Manger to the Empty Tomb

Tonight, lights glow. Candles are lit. Songs are sung. But beneath every Christmas Eve tradition is this truth:

The cradle leads to the cross… and the cross leads to resurrection.

Luke 24 assures us that the story doesn’t end in sorrow—it ends in victory.

šŸ™ Prayer Prompt:

Lord Jesus, thank You that You are alive.Thank You for the hope, peace, and victory found in You.As I enter Christmas Day, help my heart rejoice not only in Your birth, but in Your resurrection power that changes everything.

āœļø Reflection Questions:

• How does knowing Jesus is alive strengthen my faith today?• Where do I need resurrection hope in my life right now?• How can I carry the hope of Christ into Christmas Day and beyond?
