šŸ“– The True Meaning of Christmas — December Bible Study December 26th: Living the Message After Christmas

šŸ•Šļø Key Scripture (KJV):ā€œBut Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.ā€ā€” Luke 2:19

šŸ“š Devotional Thought:

Christmas Day has passed, the gifts may be opened, and the celebrations may begin to quiet—but the message of Christmas is not over.

Luke tells us that Mary ponderedĀ the miracle. She didn’t rush past it. She didn’t move on too quickly. She held the truth of what God had done deep within her heart.

December 26th invites us to do the same.

After the shepherds returned to their fields…After the angels filled the sky…After the stable grew quiet…Jesus was still there.

The world may move on quickly after Christmas, but our faith is meant to continue growing. Christ did not come just to be celebrated for a moment—He came to be followed for a lifetime.

Today is a reminder that Christmas lives on when we:• walk in humility• love intentionally• forgive freely• serve quietly• trust God daily

Mary didn’t fully understand everything God was doing—but she trusted Him. She carried the miracle forward, allowing it to shape her life.

And we are called to do the same.

Let the peace of Christmas guide your decisions.Let the love of Christ shape your relationships.Let the hope of Jesus anchor your faith—long after the decorations come down.

Christmas doesn’t end on December 25th.It lives on in hearts that choose to follow Jesus every day.

šŸŽ„ Post-Christmas Reflection: Carrying Christ Forward

Many early Christians treated the days after Christmas as sacred—days to reflect, give thanks, and commit to living differently because Christ had come.

December 26th reminds us that the greatest way to honor Christmas is to live out what it represents.

šŸ™ Prayer Prompt:

Lord, help me carry the message of Christmas into every day ahead.Teach me to treasure Your truth in my heart and live it out in my actions.May my life reflect Your love, peace, and grace long after Christmas Day.

āœļø Reflection Questions:

• What truth from Christmas do I need to carry forward into my daily life?• How can I live differently because Jesus has come?• What does it look like for me to ā€œponder these thingsā€ in my heart this week?
