š The True Meaning of Christmas ā Final Bible Study of 2025 December 31st, 2025: Stepping Forward Into Godās Promises
šļø Key Scripture (KJV):āBrethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.āā Philippians 3:13
š Devotional Thought:
As we come to the final day of 2025, we pause not just to close a calendar yearābut to reflect on the faithfulness of God and the future He is preparing for us.
This year held moments of joy and moments of sorrow. Victories and valleys. Growth and stretching. Yet through it all, one truth remained steady:
God was with us.
Tonight is not about regret. It is not about dwelling on what went wrong. It is not about replaying the past.
It is about release and readiness.
Paul reminds us that we cannot move forward while constantly looking back. God does not call us to live in yesterdayāHe calls us to walk boldly into tomorrow. The same God who carried us through 2025 is already standing in 2026, preparing the path ahead.
Christmas reminded us that God keeps His promises. The cross showed us His love. The resurrection proved His power. And now, as a new year begins, God invites us to trust Him againāwith fresh faith and renewed hope.
Let go of what weighs you down.Release what no longer serves Godās purpose.Forgive where healing is needed.Celebrate how far God has brought you.
Because the future Jesus has for you is not behind youāit is ahead.
šæ Looking Ahead to 2026 ā A Year of Growth in the Word

š January 2026 Theme:
āStop Looking Back ā Look to the Future Jesus Has for Youā
šļø Foundational Scriptures (KJV):

Jeremiah 29:11Ā ā āFor I know the thoughts that I think toward youā¦ā
2 Corinthians 5:17Ā ā āIf any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.ā
January will be a month of:⢠releasing the past⢠embracing Godās promises⢠stepping into renewal⢠rebuilding hope⢠trusting Godās direction
God is not finished with you.Your story is still being written. And the future Jesus has prepared is full of purpose.
š Prayer for the New Year:
Lord, thank You for carrying me through 2025.Thank You for every lesson, every blessing, and every moment You walked beside me.As I step into 2026, help me release the past and trust You fully with the future.Lead me forward with faith, courage, and obedience as I follow You into all You have planned.
āļø Reflection Questions:
⢠What is God asking me to release before stepping into the new year?⢠Where do I sense God leading me in 2026?⢠How can I stay rooted in Godās Word daily this coming year?
⨠Closing Blessing
May 2026 be a year of growth, healing, obedience, and joy.May your faith deepen, your hope strengthen, and your walk with Jesus flourish. And may you always rememberāthe best is not behind you; it is ahead with Christ.
