🌿 Today’s Devotional: “Held in the Quiet Moments”

“Held in the Quiet Moments”

Scripture: “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”— Psalm 34:18 (KJV)

Some of the hardest moments of grief are not the loud ones. They are the quiet ones.

The moments when the world is still, the noise fades, and your heart quietly remembers. When there’s no distraction—just love, loss, and longing sitting side by side.

In those moments, God is especially near.

He does not rush the silence. He does not interrupt the memories. He does not ask you to explain your pain.

He simply comes close.

God sits with you in the quiet moments—when tears don’t fall but the ache remains, when memories rise gently, when your heart feels tender but tired. He understands that grief doesn’t always need words. Sometimes it only needs presence.

Today, if your heart feels heavy but calm
If you feel reflective instead of overwhelmed
If you miss them in a way that feels deep and personal

Know this: you are not alone in that space.

God is near to the brokenhearted—not just in crisis, but in remembrance. He honors the love you still carry and holds every quiet moment with compassion and care.

Let today be gentle.Let the memories come if they need to.Let God sit with you right where you are.

You are held.Your grief is seen. And your love still matters.

đŸ€ Prayer

Lord,Thank You for being near in the quiet moments of grief. Sit with me today as I remember, reflect, and breathe through the love I still carry. Hold my heart gently and remind me that I am never alone. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
