“Anchor of Hope Winter Plaque” ⚓❄️✨
Theme: Holding steady to hope — even in the winter seasons of life.
This craft is calm, encouraging, and makes a beautiful reminder for the rest of the year.
❤️ What You’ll Need:
Small wooden plaque, canvas, or thick cardstock
Blue, gray, or white acrylic paint
Paint pen or permanent marker
Anchor stencil or simple anchor drawing
Optional:
Twine
Sandpaper (for rustic look)
Snowflake accents
Clear sealer
✨ Directions:
1. Paint the Background
Paint the plaque a soft winter color (white, gray, or pale blue).Let dry completely.
2. Add the Anchor
Using a stencil or freehand drawing, add an anchor in the center.
3. Write the Message
Add one phrase:
“Hope Anchors the Soul”
“Anchored in Christ”
“Firm & Secure”
You may add the scripture reference:Hebrews 6:19
4. Add Finishing Touches
Lightly distress edges with sandpaper.Wrap twine around the top for hanging.
5. Display
Hang or place:
In a prayer corner
On a desk
Near your bed
In an entryway
