✍️ Writer’s Daily Devotional – October 13, 2025 Theme: Following Your Calling to Write Title: The Courage to Begin Again Scripture: “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.”—Job 8:7 (KJV)
Devotional: Every writer faces seasons of pause—moments when projects stall, inspiration fades, or fear whispers that the best words are behind you. But God delights in new beginnings. What seems small or insignificant to you can grow into something far greater than you imagined when placed in His hands.
The courage to begin again isn’t about starting over from scratch—it’s about trusting that God is still writing through you. Each day is a fresh page, and His mercies are new every morning. The same God who called you to write hasn’t changed His mind about your purpose.
Even if your start feels slow or your progress uncertain, remember—great stories grow from humble beginnings. Keep your heart open, your faith steady, and your pen moving. God’s not done with your story yet.
Reflection Prompt: What dream, idea, or story has God placed on your heart that needs the courage of a fresh start today?
Prayer: Lord, thank You for new beginnings. Help me to find courage to pick up my pen again and trust You with each new start. Remind me that You’re not finished with me or my story. Let my writing reflect Your grace and promise of growth. In Jesus’ name, amen.
