Dream Bigger With God

Scripture:

Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)

"Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,"

Proverbs 16:3 (KJV)

"Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established."

Psalm 37:5 (KJV)

"Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass."

As authors, dreamers, and storytellers, we sometimes place limits on what God can do.

We dream according to our abilities.

We plan according to our resources.

And we measure possibilities by what we can see.

But God doesn't ask us to think small.

He asks us to trust Him.

The dreams He has placed within your heart may seem larger than you imagined.

Perhaps you desire to finish your manuscript.

Publish your first book.

Build a ministry.

Encourage thousands of readers.

Or simply leave a legacy of faith for your family.

Whatever the dream may be, remember this:

God is able.

He is able to open doors.

He is able to provide opportunities.

He is able to connect you with the right people.

And He is able to do far more than you could ever ask or imagine.

Too often we talk ourselves out of our dreams before we even begin.

We think we are too old.

Too busy.

Too inexperienced.

Or too far behind.

But God has never been limited by age, resources, or circumstances.

He simply looks for willing hearts.

So don't be afraid to dream.

Don't be afraid to write down the ideas God has placed in your spirit.

Don't be afraid to believe that He can do something extraordinary through ordinary people.

Commit your writing to the Lord.

Trust Him with the outcome.

And then faithfully do the work He has placed before you.

Dream bigger.

Pray bigger.

Believe bigger.

And trust the Author of your story to write chapters more beautiful than you could ever create on your own.

💜 What dreams has God placed within my heart?

💜 What bold step of faith can I take this month?

💜 Am I trusting God with the outcome?

💜 How can I use my writing to glorify Him and encourage others?

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the dreams and desires You have placed within my heart. Help me to trust You completely and not limit what You can do through my life and writing. Give me faith to dream bigger and courage to follow where You lead. Establish the work of my hands and use my words to encourage others and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen.
