Psalm 90:17“And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands…”

James 4:10“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”

✍️ Devotional Thought

A new week is here…

And sometimes, the biggest step isn’t knowing exactly what to write—

It’s simply showing up with a willing heart.

There will be days when you feel inspired.Days when ideas flow easily.Days when writing feels exciting.

But there will also be days when:

You don’t feel ready.You don’t feel confident.You don’t feel sure of what to say.

And in those moments, it’s easy to hesitate.

To wait until you feel more prepared.To wait until you feel more inspired.To wait until everything feels “just right.”

But God isn’t asking you to feel ready.

He’s asking you to be willing.

Isaiah reminds us that willingness and obedience go hand in hand.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.

You just have to say,“Lord, here I am.”

Psalm 90 is such a beautiful reminder—

When we offer our work to God,He establishes it.

That means your role is not to perfect every word…

Your role is to show up and offer it to Him.

James reminds us to stay humble.

Because writing is not about proving ourselves…

It’s about being used by Him.

So today, release the pressure to have it all together.

Just come with a willing heart.

Open your notebook.Open your document.Open your heart.

And say,“Lord, use me.”

Because a willing writer…

Is a powerful vessel in God’s hands.

Father,Thank You for the opportunity to begin again this week. Help me to come before You with a willing and obedient heart. Remove hesitation, fear, and doubt, and replace them with faith and trust. Establish the work of my hands and use my writing for Your glory.In Jesus’ name, Amen.
